Things to see in Quang Ngai

Quang Ngai is home to Sa Huynh culture that flourished between 1000 BC and 200 AD during Iron age and Cham culture during the 9th-10th century, but a Vietnam package tour to Quang Ngai is highlighted by the following visits to:

My Lai Massacre: Happened in 1968 at Son My village of Quang Ngai during the Vietnam war when the US army killed 504 unarmed civilians, included men, women, children and infants. The My Lai Massacre considered as "the most shocking episode of the Vietnam War". If you have the chance to visit Quang Ngai, do not forget to stop at Son My village to see the vestige site, photos and hear the story from the survivals. This place will tell us how good is peace!

Ly Son Island: An beautiful island of Quang Ngai which is just about 25km from the mainland, but has been forgotten too long. Recently, young Vietnamese have discovered and posted amazing pictures of unexplored beaches, emerald sea and fresh seefood, Ly Son started to catch the eyes of Vietnamese tourists. The natural, wild and spectacular beauty of Ly Son will make any adventurer happy to be here. Tourists travel to Ly Son can stay at nice hotels like Muong Thanh Ly Son hotel, Central Ly Son hotel, Park Hotel Ly Son or mini hotels, guesthouses and homestay. There are some tour actitivies there, but Holiday to Indochina advises tourists to explore the island by on their own.

Beaches in Quang Ngai: As mentioned earlier, Quang Ngai has beautiful coastline of over 100km and blessed with many pristine beaches like My Khe (7km long), Sa Huynh (6km long), Thien Dang beach, Khe Hai beach. The pity thing is this potential has not been invested and developed to attract more tourists, especially western tourists who love to relax on white sandy beaches.

Thien An Riverside hotel, Song Tra hotel, Central hotel are some of our suggestions to stay overnight in Quang Ngai city. If you love beach, just come to My Khe beach resort to enjoy sandy beach and seefood.
