Ca Mau Travel Guide
Ca Mau is the capital of Ca Mau province, which is the southernmost part of Vietnam. In fact, Ca Mau has the lowest population density in southern Vietnam. However, it does not mean that Ca Mau could not become a pleasant attraction for travelers. The town itself has developed recently with many busy shopping streets, wide boulevards and parks. Traveling to Ca Mau, tourists will have chance to meet hospitable southerners and enjoy the peaceful living atmosphere there.
Best time to visit
Ca Mau has a cool climate all year round but you should come here in the dry season which starts from December to April.

Ca Mau is 380km from Ho Chi Minh City, 180km from Can Tho and 130km from Rach Gia.
By Airplane
From Can Tho Airport, travelers can get to Ca Mau by bus. The ticket price is from 125,000 VND to 150,000 VND.
By Car
From Saigon, tourists can buy the bus ticket at Mien Tay bus station to get to Ca Mau. The ticket price ranges from 150,000 VND to 200,000 VND.
